MWFRA Referee
U12 – PL, W12 – WP
The MWFRA endeavours to supply an official referee to every Youth, PL, WPL, AL1, WAL1, WAL2+ and W035 games. In the event that no referee is available it is the responsibility of the home team to supply a referee.
The MWFRA runs Level 4 (entry level) referee courses each year before the start of the season. Dates and more information can be found on the MWFRA site.
The MWFA also runs a short course for parents of U12-U16 for those times when an official referee is not available. Dates for these will also be advertised once available.
Game Leader
U6 – U11
U6-U11 teams are refereed by Game Leaders. Each team must have at least 1 Game Leader. The MWFA holds short courses for parents who wish to act as Game Leaders.
These courses run for approximately 60 minutes and cover the rules, practical scenarios and provide Q&A opportunities.

Team Referee
AL2+, O35, O45
All AL2+, O35 and O45 must supply 2 accredited and registered referees. These team referees are required to officiate at the game before or after their own when they are the AWAY team. So, if your team plays at 1pm, one of the AWAY team referees must officiate at the 3pm game. If your team plays at 3pm, one of the AWAY team referees must officiate at the 1pm game.

In order to register as a BHFC Team Referee:
- You must have completed the L4 Referee Course and have current accreditations.
- Register online as a Referee for MWFRA at PlayFootball
- Send your name and the team you have registered with to the Senior Coordinator vpmen@abhunited.com.au
Registration must be completed via the PlayFootball website.
- Log onto PlayFootball
- Click the Coaches, Referees, Volunteers
- Start typing “Manly Warringah” and then click on “Manly Warringah Football Referees Association”
- Click on Get Started
- Log in using your player account details (email address and password)
- Select the person you are registering
- Select the correct product
- Check or complete your personal details, including your photo then click Register
- You are required to now pay your FNSW Referee registration fee up-front before your registration can be approved. Registration will not be approved until payment has been received
